BRETT KISSEL RETURNS TO THE GRAND OLE OPRY TONIGHT!
Brett Kissel, Canada’s Male Artist of the Year, returns to one of America’s most popular stages – the Grand Ole Opry tonight. The Opry –The Show That Made Country Music Famous – will host Kissel for his 7th performance, after first debuting in August of 2015.
“The Opry is always that bucket list venue and stage every country singer needs to play,” said Kissel. “I am honored to have been invited back, and happily adjusted my schedule to make sure it worked out. I’d literally drop anything to play the Grand Ole Opry!
” Kissel isn’t kidding – as he is one of the busiest performers in country music today. Fresh off the release of his new hit single – “We Were That Song” (from a new album due out later this fall), the country star has shown no signs of slowing down, even after pulling in four Canadian Country Music Awards at the annual awards show in September, which included Male Artist of the Year (his second in a row) and Video of the Year for the tear-jerker, “I Didn’t Fall in Love With Your Hair.”
Joining an all-star line up that includes Ricky Skaggs, Diamond Rio, and John Conlee, Kissel will perform for at the Opry House, the Grand Ole Opry’s home, before it returns to the original Ryman Auditorium during the winter months. Tickets are available at opry.com, to capture Brett Kissel’s “Lucky Number 7th” performance.
