My buddy Tyson, who helps me with my social media, had never been east of Saskatchewan before I brought him on this tour. So, I thought it would be a good idea to put him on the spot and do a shot with me onstage (P.S. Shoutout to the fans who were trying to get me drunk on stage). I think Sherbrooke gave him a warm welcome.

Hey y’all, Tyson here! I just wanted to add aside note: working with Brett has been amazing. It’s crazy to experience the moments that happen between Brett and the audience during each show. Yes, it’s an acoustic tour, and the full band isn’t here, but the fact that these three boys go on stage and create memories for people that will last a lifetime is truly special. No technology. No tracks. Just pure live music.

A moment we both won’t forget. I met Dawson during my Meet & Greet before the show here in PEI, his parents mentioned that he’s the musician of the family. I saw a lot of myself in this kid so I grabbed my guitar & asked him if he could strum a COUPLE cords.. Next thing I knew he was playing “Let Your Horses Run” better than I ever could. So of course I had to ask him to perform on stage with me, and he was nothing less than amazing.
