December 1, 2023 (Toronto, ON) – Today, multi-Platinum, CCMA & JUNO Award winning country entertainerBrett Kisselcompletes his year long rollout ofThe Compass Projectwith the release of the fourth and final collection –North Album– an ode to his love of entertaining. Bringing together a decade’s worth of Kissel’s greatest hits, performed live in Summerside, PEI, the album celebrates the incredible work of his career, infusing the energy from his dynamic performances.North Albumis available to stream nowhere.

“North Album is my ‘Greatest Hits’ package, and I honestly can’t believe I’ve had the type of career that would even allow for a ‘Greatest Hits’ album to be a possibility,” Kissel shares. “The best part about this album? It’s a LIVE album — recorded in Canada, aka: my homeland in the North.”

North Albumencompasses the musical journey that led Kissel to the artist he is today. Featuring his label debut “Started With A Song,” which kicked off his career ten years ago, the record features fan favourites that have garnered millions of streams and climbed the radio charts such as “Make A Life, Not A Living,” “Drink About Me,” “Airwaves,”  “Anthem,” and more.

“I’ve had the most amazing 10-year run. It has been the best decade ever,” Kissel reflects. “And the best way to celebrate all we’ve been able to do and accomplish was to put out a Greatest Hits album, which is the final installment of the Compass Project — my North Album!”

At the top of 2023, Kissel embarked his most ambitious endeavour yet withThe Compass Project– a four-part album experience that showcases various themes, and Kissel’s versatility as a musician and songwriter. The project’s first albumSouth Albumshowcased Kissel’s signature style of commercial country hits, including the lead track “Never Have I Ever” which has amassed over ten million global streams and climbed the charts at Canadian country radio. He then releasedEast Album, a heartfelt collection of stripped down, acoustic songs that was inspired by Kissel’s love of Canada’s east coast, and featured a new level of emotional depth in his songwriting. The compass swung toWest Albumearlier this fall, paying tribute to his deepest musical and thematic passions – the rich tradition of country and western music. Now, withNorth Album, Kissel gives fans his greatest collection of hits live from the stage.
