Congratulations to Brett Kissel on wrapping up his monumental “We Were That Song” Tour – Part 1. Brett performed his final show at the sold-out Vogue Theatre in Vancouver on Saturday night. At the show, Invictus President, Jim Cressman, presented Brett Kissel with a Road Gold Certification plaque which is awarded to artists who obtain a high level of ticket sales (25,000+) over a specific touring period. Only a handful of such plaques are given out ever year by the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA).
Kissel’s “We Were That Song Tour” – Part 1 started in Calgary on January 13, 2018 with 3 sold out shows before taking Kissel from BC through Ontario with another 50+ sold-out dates, with multiple dates in many cities. In the coming months, Part 2 of the tour will announce, sweeping Kissel through the rest of the country.
