Brett Kissel Debuts at CMA Music Festival
Nashville, TN (June 14, 2016) — Bob Doyle & Associates’ artist Brett Kissel has opened for superstars like Brad Paisley and Garth Brooks, but this past week marked his very first CMA Music Festival experience, and the young artist took the festival by storm.
Kissel started his week on Monday evening June 6th as the Headline artist for CMA’s Global Artist Showcase, where the Juno award-winning artist performed to a packed house and stirred the audience into a frenzy with his strong repertoire and high energy delivery.
On Tuesday morning Brett was up early to help fellow country music artist Craig Campbell bring awareness to Colon Cancer by participating in Campbell’s annual Celebrity Cornhole Challenge and on Thursday he made his Music City television debut on Fox 17’s morning news show where he treated the audience to an acoustic song and interview to promote his performance during the festival later that day. After burning up the stage that afternoon at the Hard Rock, Brett stayed for more than two hours after his performance greeting fans, shaking hands, giving out hugs, signing autographs and posing for photos, showing his enthusiasm for the true meaning of CMA Music Festival.
Kissel capped his week with a “bucket list” night at The Bluebird Café where he performed for the very first time in a songwriter’s round will fellow Major Bob writer, JP Williams. Kissel reserved a table that evening for a special fan who would be in the audience that night, a feisty lady named Wanda who is 86 years young and full of life and travels all over the US and Canada to support his shows. Kissel opens for Garth Brooks again this weekend in Winnipeg, MB, Canada.
