BRETT KISSEL PERFORMS FOR CBCís ìFIRST PLAYî
TORONTO – Canadian country superstar Brett Kissel is joining forces with CBC for a unique taped concert called “First Play”. The concert will feature songs from Kissel’s forthcoming album Pick Me Up (available for presale on iTunes and through Kissel’s website: www.brettkissel.com) recorded in front of a live studio audience at the CBC headquarters in Toronto.
The concert, which sold out in seconds, was announced exclusively to Kissel’s fans via his twitter account @brettkissel.
“#TORONTO come join me as I play my new record with @CBCmusic on Sept. 1st!”
Performing brand new tracks from Pick Me Up as well as his earlier hits, Kissel and CBC will release live versions of the songs exclusively through CBC Radio, CBC Television, and online via CBC’s famous “Backstage Pass.”
Kissel will also be performing live on CBC for the Canadian Country Music Awards – broadcasted on Sunday, September 13, from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Kissel is nominated for 4 CCMA Awards, including “Male Artist of the Year”, and “Single of the Year” for his smash hit: “3-2-1”, which was awarded “CMT Video of the Year” in 2014.
